Outstanding Destinations When You Travel With Family

Outstanding Destinations When You Travel With Family

When it comes to travel with family. The destination is important. You must take into consideration that traveling with children can be challenging. When picking a destination family friendly should be the priority.

Often, we see family friendly on hotels website. However, there amenities and activities are veered in another direction. I have come up with a few destinations that are definitely family friendly. These destinations are outstanding for families.

Let’s start with the obvious, Disney. Disneyland, Disneyworld and Disney cruise line are a given for an outstanding family vacation. Did you know there is more to Disney? Adventures by Disney offers luxury exclusive vacations to Europe, Australia, Asia, Africa, North America, Central and South America.

I just recently learned about Tokyo Disneyland. Just to hear Disney in a destination is exciting. Any Disney vacation is sure to have an outstanding outcome.

Another wonder destination is Mexico. They have the most exciting all-inclusive family friendly resorts. Cancun have some amazing resorts that offers outstanding family fun.  The Grand Oasis Cancun and Grand Oasis Palm are great just to name a few. Another option is the Grand Oasis Tulum which is more Caribbean then in Mexico. It is a great option as well.

The Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun is an outstanding option as well. This resort is top of the line. It offers a unique experiences for families.

My last suggestions is go on a Carnival cruise or  to a theme parks. No matter the destination most Carnival cruises offer family fun through a world of activities. Everyone is ensured to enjoy themselves. Theme park vacations offers a wide range of multi-generational fun.

The Best Ways To Make Enormous Packing Easy When Family Travels

The struggle of traveling with family is packing. Dragging along a suitcase for everyone can be hectic. Rather your flying on a plane, taking a train or driving to your destination. Preserving space is still necessary. It makes traveling and packing easier.

I have a family nine. It has been my experience to combine my children luggage. I turn my enormous amount of clothes into small amounts. With an easy technique, called a packing hack.

First, I buy zip lock bags the gallon size. I use them for my toiletries, socks, underwear and shirts. Now that’s a hack within itself. The key is to fold, smooth and roll. If you read any articles about packing the rule of thumb is to roll the clothes for better packing. Stuff your shoes and so on. It is great for small clothes. But bigger clothes are a different element. I like to fold and smooth until it if as flat as possible. This is good for jeans especially men’s. This is just my preference both techniques work. So instead of packing big suitcases I combine our clothes and pack carry-ons.  I use little clothes to fill in the gaps of the bigger ones.

Secondly, when buying toiletries for travel make sure that they are travel size and meet the TSA requirements if your flying. However, it is also a good idea while traveling to have travel sizes, it minimizes spills.

Just to go over some TSA requirements. This information can be found on the TSA website if you need to reference it, TSA.gov. Formula and water for babies is allowed on planes. They are screened separately and must be taken out of the carry-on bag. All other liquids must be 3.4 ounces or 100 ml or less to go in your carry on. Also, check out the traveling with children link for further details.

Third don’t forget to pack documents that you may need for travel. Things like medical cards, birth certificates, itineraries and travel insurance documents. I like to keep these items with my carry-on, specifically a backpack that I won’t sit down. I suggest you keep them in a spill proof envelope. I place those items in a plastic folder that closes and put it inside a ziplock as well. This protects the documents from damage due to spills. Also, it fits easily in my bag.

It is always a great idea to consult with a travel professional when taking a family vacation. No matter what your means of transportation are, a travel professional can help you properly prepare. Say for instance, you’re driving to a resort. A travel professional can make sure you have a hard copy of directions or know the laws of crossing state lines. It can be something as simple as car seat regulation. Maybe you take the train ride or a bus. Understanding the procedures and having someone to call for help in case an issue arrives. Is always a good idea!
